Castlevania: The Lecarde Chronicles 2

Castlevania: The Lecarde Chronicles 2 is a fangame based on the well-known Konami saga, which is itself a sequel to another similar title. This is a 2D action and platform game inspired by the most Metroidvania installments, with narrative and visual elements borrowed from games like Symphony of the Night and the mobile versions of the saga.

You'll play as Efrain Lecarde, son of Eric Lecarde (the protagonist of Castlevania Bloodlines), in an adventure on which you'll encounter various enemies and allies from the saga, such as Alucard himself or the unavoidable Count Dracula. In fact, both are played by the voice actors who voiced them in the iconic Playstation title.

All the elements of the game are carefully done, offering high-resolution sprites and music inspired by the well-known classic melodies, plus a non-linear progression system that doesn't let you level up but does allow you to collect items to enhance your health, magic, and special abilities.

This game even has the approval of Konami itself, as it's a game made by fans. Unlike other similar titles, all the visual and sound resources were not extracted from other games but made from scratch. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Castlevania fangames of all time.
